I changed the oil in my '86, started it up and it died. Unusual I thought, that never happens. I restarted it several more times and finally it ran, but the SES light came on as well as the red light by the voltage readout. I quickly checked for anything obvious or "stupid" I may have done, but saw nothing. I shut it off and now it won't start at all :( . Checked the codes and got a 54. Fuel circuit failure (short or open). If the weather holds out, I plan to try and diagnose it tomorrow. Anyone ran across this before? Suggestions on where to start? Are there any common failures that create a short or open in the C4's fuel circuit?
