Ok if I drive my car for about 30 minutes I get a check engine light and when I run the codes it comes back as a grounded wot curcuit. I replaced the tps and still the problem persists....anyone have any ideas?

I have NEVER, EVER, seen a trouble cold labeled. "grounded wot circuit." I can't even image what a "wot circuit" IS. What year? Is it a 1991 as your user name suggests? What is the NUMBER of the code you observed?
i believe its a code 22 an yes it is a 91 and it did come up as a "grounded wide open throttle curcuit"...I cant remember for sure if its a code 22 but I can go check the codes again.I drove the car today and once again the light popped on and I reset the computer before I left home.

Curious what type of scanner you used to obtain that code. It could be just really poor wording on their part.
thanks.......i just ran the codes again with a scanner and also went through the diag. and the tps shows .096 at idle and goes all the way to 4.5 at wot. everything else looked good except the oxygen sensor showed lean.....
Do you have a Helms manual-it shows the trouble shooting sequence.
I think it may be different from my 87. For mine it says to check for an open or short to ground in CKTs 416 or 417. You really need the trouble shooting guide for a 91-because the end results for the 87-if no circuit problems are found it points to a faulty connection or ECM.

Well, FIRST, don't just replace the O2, just because it throws a "lean" code. It could be that the mixture actually IS lean. Follow the trouble shooting charts in your FSM. The FSM should also show you the acceptable range for the closed throttle TPS reading. The .096 is WAY low. You don't mean 0.96 do you? .096 is without a doubt, unacceptably low. But is isn't a "grounded wot circuit.". It is "TPS signal voltage, low". .0.96 is high but your FSM will tell you if it is within the range for a non-adjustable 1991 TPS.
sorry guys I ment .96....also the car is not running lean....its ruinnin pig rich and its about 10.1 af. which I realy need to get figured out also.when the motor was built, the cam that was used had a 110 degree lobe sep. I have had tunning issues with this thing from the get go.

What does the FSM say about the 0.96 volts? Is that within range? If not, the trouble shooting charts for that "grounded wot circuit." code will lead you to the solution.

My crystal ball is STILL in the shop. All *I* have to go on is what you post.
