Default Help..another exhaust question.

Ok,

new to c4 corvettes, keep that in mind.I am currently planning a custom exhaust for my' 92 LT1.We have a killer installer at the local muffler shop.He has fabbed up alot of my designs on previous projects.

right now the car has factory manifolds,2 cat y pipe, resonator, muffler eliminators.(was on it when i bought it.)
ok,I am thinking of after market header(pacesetter),high flow cats,(random technology)x-pipe(spin tech),into 1 chamber flowmasters,factory tail pipes.no smog/sniffer laws in Tennessee.
Any problems with a set up like this?the big question is,when i look at factory set ups online and in parts catalogues,92-96 have one cat in the y pipe?and 85-91 have two?my car was built in dec of '91(92 model)it has 2 cats off each side into the y pipe.
i appreciate any helpful info.

That's correct, the LT1 has 2 main cats. Most earlier C4s have 2 per-cats and one main cat. If you don't have stringent emissions laws, why screw with the Pacesetters? Just go with long tubes and high flow cats and get a real performance gain. Check the GP in the C4 parts section for Stainless Works header packages, among other options.

What's the number of those one-chamber Flowmasters, if you don't mind? And the dimensions if you know them. Also inlet and outlet sizes. TIA
