Forgive my ignorance again, but on my 1st corvette,(84) the wheels are lefts and rights. The question is can these be put on with the saw tips sweeping to the rear. Is there some brake cooling function with the stock mounting of the saw tips to the front.
As 86pacer mentioned brake cooling is probably part of the design. If you go to a track you could probably benefit from this. Normal street driving your brakes should not get anywhere near hot enough for the direction of the blades to be a concern.

With saw blades, the spokes are shaped so that the air would be pushed out (and pulled in from the back). Reversing this would probably just change the direction the air flowed through the wheels.
However, I think there's a high pressure area under the car, which would fight the reverse flow. Anyway, I agree this probably isn't a factory under normal driving.
Also, the spokes on '84 wheels aren't that big. So, I'm not sure they do that much.
There also are front spoiler options which contain integrated brake cooling ducts. You could go this route -- if you really are concerned about it.
