Well just my luck previous owner got to the 85 fuel pump sender before me , looks like bubba did some sodering on a wire? sender and float gone,well off to the bone yard for the whole shot Can anyone tell me what years will fit? looking to get the newest year possible.TIA

Don't know absolutely for sure, but the sending units in the '86 through '88 model years might work in your '85.

good luck finding one that works.

these things are garbage... new ones are expensive.

take the one you currently have, take the resister off and reverse it. clean up any solder joints and get some good quality heat shrink that is fuel proof.
