Default Rear Suspension Moving During Acceleration

Hi All,

Need some help troubleshooting a problem with the rear(I think) suspension. During acceleration I can feel the rear of the car sway over to the right(towards the passenger side). I have lifted the car and did a shake down on the wheels and suspension components, and have not seen anything obviously wrong. Any suggestions on what might be the problem or what I components I should be checking?

A small amount of movement in the center of the rear tie rod assembly can cause what you describe. If it were my car, I would check this area again.

Take a good hard look at all of your rear bushings as well. Trailing arm, differential carrier, strut rod, sway bar, etc. You'd be amazed at how much movement a rotten, worn bushing allows.

Have the rear toe checked.
