Default Another Outer Window Seal Question.

I am replacing the pass side outer window seal on a 91, I followed the tech tips and other posts. I have the door pannel off and the old seal removed (that was hard to get out), I have the window all the way down and am trying to install the new seal, I also loosened the two pads on the door to allow the window to move more, but it is still a tight fit, I am having a hard time getting the pad on the new seal past the window on the back side of the door (the window is below the front pad, so no problem with that one) Is there a trick to this or do I just need to work it in, I don't want to break anything.
Thanks.

I don't remember it being that tuff... It should be straight forward?

Try moving the pad out of the way all together.

Go ahead and remove the rear guide and that will let the window fall out of the way, (you may need to remove the middle one if your car has one). Once you do this you can get it in there and you will probably have to adjust the guides with the new seal depending on if yours had been set up with it worn. Hope this helps!
