The penny will prove that it was you taking the picture and did not just cut and paste it off google or someting.

Better yet use a newspaper that way we will have a current date.A penny picture can be copied too.I would love to see this car and can't wait.

Mabey he uses English as a second language and is not up to snuff on how detailed the convesations are here. It definately makes it hard to understand him though.

Yep, I'll be back to get my popcorn and maybe a beer...

As long as you can prove that your "automatic" ZR1 is authentic and genuinely mated with an automatic transmission along with your "twin turbos" and the "150 shot of NAWZ", heck, I'll even mail you some beer money and a request for your autograph. How does $10 sound??

As far as it goes for the time being, you are on troll watch or CF probation.

If you photoshop it and it really looks good, we can at least respect your "profeshunel M4d t!t3 5k!11z y0!!" We'll hook you up with a job as our photoshop ho!!

ZR1Ricer....uh....I mean Racer.....It's really quite simple. A few seconds with a digital camera, and this whole misunderstanding can be cleared up. Those of us doubting the authenticity of your LT5 Auto will have no choice but to admit that we were wrong, and offer our sincere apologies. We'll even forgive the grammatical maladies.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you also snap a shot from under the car....say a pic of the bell housing where it mounts to the block. Some of us may want to do this particular conversion some day, and this would be valuable information.

Oh.....and we can smell a photoshop from two counties over.

Once you've posted your pictures and we've all eaten some crow, then we can get back to diagnosing that pesky auto tranny problem you have.

The early auto zr-1's used a different sprag and roller combo. It has much stiffer springs than the 94 and up auto Zr-1's. Swap to the earlier spring and it will bang less severely.

Is this what you do when you have the nitrous lines feeding the trans?

Absolutely! But you must purge the lines. Jegs has an illuminated purge kit that I highly recommend.

Didn't take much for this to go off track did it, and that was only halfway down page 1.

First off, this is a private forum, nobody can say whatever they want. There are no 1st amendment rights here. It is a privilege, not a right to post here.

As far as everyone else commenting, just about every one of you were wrong for responding after page 1.

We do not "TTT" anything here when a post like this goes this way. That little triangle under your name with teh exclamation point is for reporting posts. That is the only button anyone is allowed to press when we have a thread that has gone wrong.

Troll hunting is not allowed and several of you are following this guy around, well, that will only get you in trouble.

So now to the good stuff.

ZR1 Racer needs to prove to us that he has what he has. There is no reason not to believe him until he can't prove it.

I've seen automatic ZR1's. There was one at Art's Corvette in Bowling Green,KY. The rasons for converting can be many. Maybe the guy was a hardcore drag racer, maybe he's disabled, maybe he's an older guy and didn't feel like shifting anymore. Maybe the ZF crapped out and he had an automatic laying around and decided to use it.

We are not here to judge anyone's car no matter how tasteless we think it is. That includes the STi's and Evo's with their ridiculous (though supposedly functional) wings.

Anybody here wants to bash someone elses car, let me know, I can show you the door. Make sure it don't hit you in the *** on the way out.

That's it, I'm done.
