Anyone using "Pypes" Cats??
I e-mailed them and they claim 400 cfm from the 3” cat,
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/powercat.htm
At $100 cheaper than the Power Cat it sounds to good to be true, what am I missing here? Are Power Cats that much better
Thanks.

I've got them in my exhaust system I fabricated. I have them slipped over the header collectors, attached with band clamps.
They work very well and I passed emissions with flying colors with them (and a good tune from TJWong).

Look at these!
Denver,
I'm was looking at using
these! They boast 534 cfm through a 3" cat! And, the size looks similar to the competition.

I understand that the Dynomax cats flow extremely well at a reasonable price, too.

Gregg,
This was all I could find on the Dynomax Super Converter
"These converters have 26 percent more frontal area for increased performance"
I looked on the Dynomax, Jegs and Summit web sites, no cfm #'s.
Guess we could e-mail Dynomax??

Those are the same as the Dynatech Headers Power Cats. All are made by ArvinMeritor for many companys which one of is Dynatech. The fit and flow great I have used many of them as an alternative to the much more expensive Random Technology bullet CAT. One thing you have to know, and that is the metallic cores in these CATs are for the most part all the same, as there are only a couple EURO companies that manufactures the core material. Only the body maybe a bit different from each other. If each core has the 200 cell/sq inch then it will flow the same.
