kickindash.com opinions?
I've searched the archives and found nothing but positive opinions of these guys. I need to modify my center console (shifter trim plate on my '85) so I figured I would make a new one out of Carbon Fiber. The shifter plate is easy as it is pretty much a flat piece, I would graft in the side lips off the stock unit.
The problem is I really don't want to recreate the center console and dash surround piece. Could someone tell me if the pieces from kickindash.com would look right next to an actual piece of carbon fiber? They say (and i've read) that their pieces are real carbon. Are they overlays that go over your stock pieces or do they replace them? Can someone who has has bought from kickindash.com tell me about them and possibly post pic's if you have them?
