I think he could use an "X" pipe to replace his resonator.

I bet you can muffle out the resonance REAL well with some potatos or bananas. Can't beat back pressure!

ps: And your occupation is streetracing??? I bet you have a little 240SX with a ZR1 body kit. That's what I'm talking about!

It's probably just carbon buildup. Pour a half gallon of gas into the valve cover hole, this will dissolve the crap in the exhaust and get rid of the rattle. $500 is a good deal for a converter you should jump on that. You don't really need pipes after the converter anyways. For the 02, you should just remove it, it's only there for emissions.

If it rattles just put a bracket around it & it will stop rattling. And if you have a TWIN TURBO ZR-1 engine I'd sure like to see some pics of it. I think that would be history-in-the-making

Hey Central - I've never heard of doing something like that. I've got a 95 LT1 6spd. Is there a similar method of cleaning out any carbon build-up for my car?? And would that screw with any sensors or the cats? - the mufflers are coming off real soon so those dont matter.

Check your PMs. Also, sandblasting works good for cleaning the intake tract. Pretty easy to do while the cars running if you remove the throttle body.

Ah - well I am very unfamiliar with these newer fuel injected cars. Plenty of stuff to pour down carbs to make various differences. Thanks anyway.

Have you gutted the o2 sensor yet? Heck, just remove it. It will make your car have a lot more horsepower and torque to the rear wheels. Buddy, I'm not just talking about a 5 hp gain, I'm talkin' about doin' wheelies everywhere you go. That is at least 1000 horsepower and you get to bully those twin turbo Supras as well!! Just put some big 27" slicks on the back! You'd need those tires for all the raw horsepower and torque you'll be making!!

But if that ZR1 is a manual, it wouldn't be his. I'd be willing to say it probably can take all Supras and have them bend over...

With the grammar this guy is sportin', I don't even he owns a Corvette. Probably something along the lines of "Chevette" with ZR1 badges in it while being an automatic.

We probably are, but maybe this is a normal guy just wanting to seek attention like a handycap wheel chair goon. At least he knows how to spell "resonator."
