ZR1 Racer,
Just some friendly advice.
http://www.howstuffworks.com/

You cannot gut your 02 sensor, you can gut the catalytic converter. Also with the custom "twin turbo-nator??" set up we have NO CLUE what is done to your exhaust.

But please for the love of god. Just type with the basics of proper grammer. We know you ar enot "retarded" because yo uhave the AOL speak down pat, so WE KNOW you can comprehend what you are typing( I have rheumatoid arthritis & still have the ability to type in semi complete words, so you have NO excuse). It really isnt that hard & people will respect you more for it. If you got shafted with the car...so be it. MANY people do. Live & learn.
For those saying to take a pic of your car. if you do not have a digital camera. Get a disposable for $4 then develop the pics to CD, save them to a file on your PC & use a host like photobucket to post them here.
It really isnt that hard & in most places you can have the CD done in 2 hours-ish.

I think if you read his post sideways his CAT is toast it rattles and he is being sold a new CAT.That is why he is talking about the O2.So the answer to the question is if there are no emission test in your state you can put a pipe in with an O2 bung welded in it to replace the CAT but you will have to delete the AIR system or put a fitting in for it.Better yet get headers. They will be set up with the AIR & O2 fittings.
