Default EM header question

Got my headers on and the O2 sensors. While I was under the car I noticed that the oil filter is really close to the header, really close. I hope it will be an easy oil change. Secondly I was also putting on my plug wires, 6 with 90's and 2 straight. Where are you putting the 2 straight ones, or should they all have 90's.

Thanks

Fred

On my LT1 with EM Long tubes oil changes have not been a problem. As for the plug wires I reused the wires and looms that were already on the car.

Mike

I saved my original wires and they are also 6 90's and 2 straights.
If that is what you used, which cylinders did you put the straights on???
I want to avoid melting the boots.

Thanks

My MSD wires came with two straight boots that located on the two rear cylinders on the RH side, I'm not sure why. It worked okay with manifolds but when I switched to headers, it was much more practical to change those two to 90 degrees, which is what I did.

The two straight ones go on the back two plugs on the passenger side of the engine.
