1985 Rear Diff Filling Point
Okay I may sound like an idiot, but We drained the gear oil and then replaced it along with the limited slip fluid. However I am starting to smell something burning toward the back of the car. Is there a seperate place to add the gear oil and a seprate place to add the limited slip? I know that the limited slip has a red tag where it goes, but where does the new gear oil go?

The two bottles of GM additive go in the same hole as the gear oil. When I changed mine I added 1/2 qt gear oil then the two bottles of additive, then finished filling it up. All goes in the hole on the right side of the chunk. How much gear oil did you add, and how did you drain? Is it leaking than dripping on the exhaust?
