Okay, so I've been making changes in tunerpro & then burning the bin file to 27SF512 chips.
However, I haven't been doing anything to offset my bin file to the higher memery range of the chip?? Am I blowing it & not really updating the correct info? I don't get any codes or anything & car runs fine (in the garage anyway as insurance is down right now). But my changes to fan on/off temp don't seem to be working???
It should be set automatically when you select the SF512 chip, providing you have the latest firmware for the Flash and Burn, otherwise you need to set the start address to C000.
Thanks, Craig Moates got back to me & I did need to set the chip address to C800 to start writing at the upper end of the chips address range. I hope to test my "new" chip version tonight when I get home...
