Trying to stay emissions legal

1. Did any of the later C4s have True Dual exhaust?
possibly LT4??
2. Can i stay emissions legal and copy the later model
(with cats) and end up with true dual?

1) no.
2) depends on legal. If you want to pass the sniffer, hell yea! if you have to pass a visual, it gets tricky.
details:
if you don't have to worry about the visual, build this:
1) 2 bullet cats
2) x-pipe
3) misc plumbing
4) mufflers
Without headers, that is worth 25~30hp. With headers, add another 20.
If you have visual, then you have to maintain a stock appearance... them's the rules... BUT, you can upgrade to a high flow y-pipe and a high flow center cat. Go 4" if you can afford it. That will liberate 15~20hp or so.
