quick PKE question

quick PKE question

The 94 I just bought had the automatic walk away and lock style remote.

If I buy one from ebay or wherever that had the pushbutton lock and hatch style will that program into this car???

I would rather have that style

Mine has 2 buttons, 1 for the door and 1 for the hatch. I bought it from the chevy dealer for my 93 coupe.

The PKE system has a button for the door and hatch, but if you want to turn off the PKE. Hold down the lock button on your door till you here it cycle through unlocking/lock the doors. That turns the PKE off, repeat to turn it on again.

if im not mistaken i think there are actually 3 cycles: both doors on, drivers door only, and all off. i wonder why they got rid of the pke on the c5????
