Default Won't idle

My new 90 vert decided not to idle anymore. It was running fine at first. Then when I moved it off the trailer and parked it in the driveway and left it running for a while it started 'searching for idle. it would hunt rapidly up and down between about 500-1000 rpm's. I got in hit and hit the trottle a few times to see if that would clear it up. When I would push the accelerator it kinda sounded like it was pinging when I first hit it. After doing that a few times it would still search for idle but it would stay running. I shut it off and moved things around in the garage so I could put it away. When I started it back up it just dies right away.I can get it to run if I hold the throttle open a bit but as soon as I take my foot off the gas it just dies. I 'two-footed' it and put her in the garage. I have looked at a few things but nothing jumps out at me. I replaced the tps with another that I had but still same thing. I was suspecting the iac but I would think the bas idle would kick in and keep it running. I haven't removed the tb to clean it yet although I did spray some cleaner into the tb.

Hopefully I will get time to pull the throttle body off and give it a cleaning and check the iac. I do hear the iac moving after I shut it down. The car has been sitting for about a year and only started occasionally. Could the gas be bad? Would it help to get octane boost or injector cleaner to put in the tank? It's about half full. I did check the fuel pressure and it is about 32 psi not running and it holds pressure pretty good once it shuts off.

Any help would be appreciated. I have not work on a speed density car before. Thay have all been maf ones.

Thanks.

welcome to the world of ecm controlled fuel injection. any mods? excluding the air foil as i tend to think changing a light bulb will produce more results.

No mods that I know of. Just got the car. Haven't even removed the frisbee yet. I have an 85 allready. Just about everything is different between the two cars since one is maf and the other sd.

Sitting for a year? I hope they drained the gas.....if not, then could be fuel filter or fuel pump.

Check your ECT sensor.I suppose it could be bad gas put some ISO Heet in it and shake it How full is the tank?

OOps posted late but I would still put the Heet in just in case if the gas is old.

I hooked my fp gauge up and I was only getting 32 psi when I turned the key on. I didn't start it too see if it would go any higher but I went ahead and replaced the fuel filter. It was on $7 from Autozone. Had to drop the X frame down to get the filter clamp bolt back on.
