The dash is not lighting up. I can still see whats going on very faintly, but just barely. Also the dash lights for both the turn signals and the high beams are on while this happens. This happened once for just a second, I fiddled with the key and it got better. It happened again this morning and has been like this ever since. All my fuses are good, if that helps. Do I need a new dash or what? Thanks
Sounds like it's time for a rebuild. You can either do it yourself or have it done by one of the several shops that offer the service. IIRC when the directional and high beam indicators light up it is backfeeding due to a bad ground on the circuit board. Try a search here for "digital cluster repair" or simmilar and you should find some very informative threads. There are some excellent online documents that cover diagnosis and repair of most cluster problems.
Rarely do you need to replace the entire cluster, they can be troublesome but just about every problem is repairable.
I have the same problem, but I don't have time to fix it. I understand there is a way to tear apart the dash and get at the ground which most commonly fails.
