Looking for the correct 3-wire Bosch o2 sensor for my 86. I know the 13190 is the correct 3-wire for the 88-93's. The stock sensor is is different for the 84-87's so I'm thinking I need a different heated sensor. Thanks.
You will need to add a circuit that will provide the power for the heater. You would also want the mating connector for whatever 3 wire O2 you use to make replacement easier.
You would want to do this mod if you have added long tube headers.
I know the 13190 is the correct 3-wire for the 88-93's.
News to me, my '89 came with a single wire.
Here are a couple of links that may be useful. I wish I'd known about
the first one before I sourced/built my conversion. The second link
shows one way of tapping into a switched 12VDC source for the O2
heater.
Sensor is part number 25312179 - ACDELCO AFS74
Connector is part number 12126012 - ACDELCO PT643
I got the O2 on ebay for $28 and the weatherpack pigtail from my jobber for $9.
