Default 58mm vs 1300 monoblade

Ok on a 406 with ported AFR heads would I see a performance gain using a monoblade over the 58mm,I see that Ls1 uses a 75mm stock and even larger when modded so why the increase on the Ls1 if it is not needed?

I’d be in favor of a monoblade for a high rpm solid roller 406ci. What intake? My recommendation would be different if you have one of those low rpm big cube stump pullers like I’ve see around here on occasion.

Yes, most highly modded LSx motors use 90mm throttle bodies.

I'm using a miniram and a hydraulic roller I only turn it up to 5800-6000 so do you think a monoblade would be a waste.

You aren't comparing apples to apples there. You have a 58mm TB, that's TWO 58mm bores, the LS1 uses a SINGLE 76mm bore. The twin 58's will flow a bit more than the single 76.
A 1300 cfm monoblade may make you loose some low end torque because the velocity of the air entering the engine will be slowed from the large opening.
