Must I unhook the battery and reset the "ABS computer" after i have clean the censors? Or should the service ABS light dissapear automatic?
One more thing.
I cant get any codes from the ABS system, not even code 12. Anny ides on that?
Devilfish,
I think you have to access the ABS codes thru the CCM. Don't have my manual with me, it would not help much as I have a 95 & the pin grounding is different. I think disconneting the battery will not clear ABS codes. There is a pin on the ADL that has to be grounded, after you access the CCM. Wish I could help more.
You check the codes by shorting pins A and H in the ADLD connector and turning your ignition to ON (don't start the engine). Then the codes flash in the center info panel using the Service ABS -light.
You should at least see the 12's and then the other codes (every one 3 times).
There is some error codes that cannot be seen this way. You need a scanner to check them.
Well, if you don't even get the 12 (by flashing service abs-light) then I think you should take it to pro repair shop.
Code 12 is "diagnostic system operational" and must flash when you short pins to get codes. If not, something is broken beyond diy repair, maybe the ecm or the ADLD connector. Or maybe the error is one of those you cannot check without a scanner. Anyway I recommend a visit to a good Vette shop.

Ps. I also have '91 Vette and did the code checking this week succesfully with the instructions above, got them from the forum and verified with shop manual.
Im going to print them down today...
My ABS has never worked since i bought the car, how should i work? SHould the "ABS active" always be on?
What can i use to get ALL the error codes?
Regards
You will only see the "ABS" light when the system functions during driving, it will be accompanied by a chattery/groan from the brakes and brakepedal feedback. The only other time you will see the light in a properly functioning system is when you first start the car and drive it. The ABS does a systems check on itself at 3-5mph and will cycle the abs pump momentarily. Then the light should go out.
Make sure your jumping the right pins on the ALDL and try and pull codes again, you should atleast get a code 12. As far as the system goes, it could be a bad wheel speed sensor, maybe the abs module, any number of things, if you can't get a code, I would take the car to a pro.
