Intake Runner torque specs

86 L98

I had a vac leak after I took off the intake runners and reinstalled. Vac leak was coming from the front lower runner flange. My book gives me a torque range. What is the specific ft lb number?

I believe it is 18 ft-lbs.
How did you get the inner bolt out/in? The one I am having trouble with sits right under the fuel regulator.

Get a 3/8 universal and attach it to the torx bit. Put it next to the bolt holding it in one hand. Then run a 6 inch extension under the reg and attach it to the universal you are holding. Then you should be good to go. Just to forwarn you, it is a B to get it out

. But once you get it going it will come right out.
