Throttle Body Spacer
Has anyone tried the AIRAID or Helix TB spacer that claims up to 25 HP gain ? Do these spacers really help ? If so, how much did it lower your 1/4 mi. times ? thanks

Carb spacers help or hurt according to the needs of the combination.
I expect that a Throttle Body spacer does the same.
Look up Helmholtz and take a look at the role the plenum plays.
Possible benefits are increased plenum volume and a longer path for air
turbulence to smooth after passing the throttle blades.
I haven't looked at the OEM TPI plenum much so I don't know how its
plenum volume agrees with the Helmholtz theory, but I can see that
most of the runners are somewhat back from the TB to begin with.
OTOH, a spacer on a Stealth Ram in an f-body (where it would have
a chance of fitting) might make a change.
