Default Head Flow numbers with different bore specs

Does running your heads on a flow bench make a difference when the bore of the block its going on is different.
Maybe this helps, does a set of heads for an LS1 get measured for there bore or the larger bore of LT1(for example).
I heard this can make the heads seem to flow more when done this.
I have no idea how heads are flowed, I just know LSx heads flow WAY more than LTx motors.

As far as I know the bore of the block is insignificant, just the ports themselves are flowed on a fixture. (not attatched to a block on the flowbench)

It is my understanding that the superb flow characteristics of the LSx head is due primarily to the port design and the fact that they are something like 15 deg as opposed to the Gen I/II being traditional 23 deg designs.

Typically a head is flow tested with the size of bore you are planning to run.

The flow numbers will be influenced by the location of the bore wall due to shrouding if your valves are all arranged in-line. This is why many purpose race heads have the valves rotated as much as 60 degrees from in-line configuration. This places the intake valve at the top of the chamber so that it opens toward the cylinder's center and away from the bore wall which greatly reduces shrouding losses. For accurate results you should flow the head on an adapter that is close to your cylinder diameter. I wouldn't be as concerned about this as I would having the ports, chambers and seats prepared by someone who knows what they are doing, however.
