Replacing shocks.
I bought new Bilstein Xtremes from VB&P for the front only. The back end is working nicely with the VB&P Sport Monospring. I am not replacing the front monospring as of yet.
My question is this. Will my back F45 shocks still function even if the fronts are no longer F45 shocks? I am going to remove the DIC light, so that really won't matter. Will the shocks function or will this throw them into some total disarray?
Replacing them seems to be a breeze. Where do y'all get the shock tool (for the top of the front shock) other than Chevy? The guys from Advance were a touch clueless, and the guys from AutoZone didn't speak a word of English for ****, so that was out.
I looked in my Chiltons on removing the front cluster to remove the DIC light, but that was a CharlieFoxtrot as well. I know that I have to remove the center console, shift **** etc... but the damn dash pad on top as well? And disable the SIR system? Gimme a freaking break, take the whole dash apart to remove a freaking light bulb?

As for the SRS light, the simplest solution is get a busness card, cut out a piece big enough to cover the light, black out with a black sharpie, and tuck it in just under the bezel to cover the light.
