should I wait to have it aligned after driving it around the block? I installed the front lowering kit off a lift. Before the lift it was brought down, the front was real high. I could fit almost 4-5 fingers between the wheel and the fender. Now after the kit was installed, I can fit 3 but it sin't running so I have no way of driving it around.

Just curious, how much did you pay for your lowering setup?
Mid America kit and I think in the vicinity of $40. I installed it myself over the course of a weeks time. I also replaced the bushings and ball joints. Meanwhile, when everthing is out, its a great time to clean up the aluminum components. Everything looks real good now.

How was the install of this lowering kit. I bought one about a week ago but havent gotten around to it yet, because I am trying to hash out the front suspension issue I am having. How long did it take you? From the number of parts in the kit it seems like it would be easy but I have not even started on it yet.
Took me about 2-3 hours to remove the front suspension. I removed everything for a good cleaning, bushing and ball joint rebuild. I think you could get away with just removing the shocks, spring retainer plates, tie rod ends and lower ball joint from the lower a-arm. Then the spring should slide out. Cutting off the wedges was the tedious part. Making sure I didn't cut the spring. Then I cut off 4/10"off the spring retainer brackets.I also cut off 3/8"off the pads at the end. My spring was different than what everyone elses looked like because I beleive it was a convertible. I don't know.I glued the wedges with gorilla glue and let it set for 24 hours. Re-installation took me another 2-3 hours. but the end product looks good. I just wish I could drive it to see how much it settles. Theres about 3" of snow and I'm still waiting on an emissions line from the dealer before I start her up.
