Default 96 Studdering since 160 thermostat

Since I replaced the thermostat my car has been stuttering while in drive at a stop, and I can feel it hesistating while I'm just starting to move. I've reprogrammed with the hypertech computer, but it still is doing it. Is this related to the thermostat or something completly different and just coincidental???

Not sure what you mean by reprogrammed,
did you do a custom program for only the fans or are you using the Engine Tuning (performance) program ?
If so try programming it for only the fans, or put the stock program back in and see how the car runs.

id go back to the stock program and just turn on the fans a little sooner. you didnt get any coolant on the optispark when you changed the stat did you?

Your car should not "stutter", by this I guess you mean miss, by using a 160 degree t-stat. Sounds more like a flaw in the reprograming.
