O2 Sensor thread size
Today while removing the the 02 sensors on my 94, one of them left some material in the threads of the pipe. I soaked these things with PB Blaster for a week and this one still would not come out gracefully. I'm going to need a tap to clean up the threads. Does anyone know what the thread size is for this. Thanks

18x1.5 metric. Maybe you could run an old sensor back in and dislodge the pieces? A tap that size will be pricy. Maybe an icepick would allow you to pick the pieces out?

you can get a ''spark plug'' thread chaser at most auto parts stores, most are double-ended 14mm/18mm....never try to remove o2 sensors when they're cold (guess you already have figured that out)

Actually after soaking it and it still was not budging I heated the area with a torch and still got the grief. I have tried picking but the threads look a little shabby and another sensor will not screw in. I think I can borrow a tap. Thanks for the size info.
