Passenger Door Lock Stuck
the power licks, but it doesn't move as much as the driver's door.
I get the feeling that the door was slammed closed with a miss alignment of the
door jamb pin. There is absolutely no movement of the outside and
inside door pulls. I may have to crawl in and give the door a body blow
the hope for some movement. Using a pry bar will only hurt the plastic.

Have you managed to fix the issue? I am stuck with no power, only the passenger's door opening. The inside driver's side door lock **** seems to be stuck and there's hardly any movement.
I can easily turn the key in the lock from the outside, but there's no sound of any parts moving inside.
I cannot open the hood, cause it's also stuck...lucky me :-)
I tried WD40 from the outside, but no luck. How to open the door? Any ideas?
Best regards from Poland

I did notice with the hood open that there might be access to
the door hinges.
The buyer said that a mouse made a mess of **** in the door
that over the years solidified and froze up the linkages.
Not sure how he did it.
He was happy though because I sold him also my
26 Chevy Superior K (all parts included) Coupe for $1500
My loss was his gain.
I will try to open the door somehow. Sorry to hear you said goodbye to both of your cars. Does it mean, that Vette isn't present in your life anymore?
That's life.
I just start my journey with C4 - it is my dream come true but the first days are tough, though
removable rear glass. It will be my retirement, 2 model A's and
a ford 841 Tractor.
If ou look at some pictures online of an open hood on a C4
you can see the routing of the hood release cable on
each side that pulls on the latch on each corner. You can
rig up a wire hook that you can fish under the wipers opening
and grab and pull on each latch.
I was so paranoid that I made two wires and attached them to the
pull cables and kept them under the hood corners so I could release
the hood from outside.
Good luck.

in LOCK position, key no turn, door handle locked in closed position, and door closed.
To make it worse power window up and click but no movement when power switch operated.
Door lock power switch clicks but no movement in inside sliding manual override. Forcing overide
slider impossible to slide. On top of that with door locked it is impossible to get to FUSES, and
impossible to remove door interior panel.
