pvc is brand new, actually they installed an evacuation kit on the car, runs from both valve covers to the headers. As for the rings, if your referring to the piston rings--not sure why those would affect the dipstick tube, everything is brand new in engine, just upgraded to 383 with all new seals and parts.

About the only way for oil to come out the dipstick tube is blowby from poor ring seal, or something not right with your evacuation kit.
In other words some thing is putting positive pressure into the crank case.
Ok, I just spoke with the shop owner and he told me they checked the pressure and so far it looks like a pcv part, they believe they fixed it, but will check tomorrow and said something about blowing out the excess oil from the hoses--I guess an oil buildup. But they think they fixed it...Hopefully, thanks for the help

I was going to go there.
I had an issue that may have been similar.
That's why I was asking some particulars.
I did pressure test, leak down test and they were all fine.
I was only blowing little oil out the dipstick at high rpm and more under spray.
My motor did not get enough vacuum from pcv, etc.
Evac is an issue with pro stock cars, big blower cars, High compression N2O Cars (like mine).
So I ended up installing a pro evac system.
Using and air pump to evac going to an oil seperator to evac/catch can which can be emptied from time to time.
Just went through this on my wifes car and it was a compleatly cloged PCV system. New PCV valve and a couple hours of cleaning the vacuum passage on the TB and it was fixed. I did the entire seafoam treatment just to be safe. BTW she has a 02 Sebring vert but exact same problem.
Heres the update, Just spoke with the shop owner and he said the car is running, they decided to take off the crankcase evac system because the car seems to run abit better without it, he said the car is still smoking but not as much as it was when I took the car to them. Course I don't know that till I pick it up in a couple hours. They DID do a leakdown and it came out clean--they said there puzzled about this and he's calling his partner to ask him his opinion before they let me drive off with it,---ALSO, he mentioned that it could "possibly" be oil residue left in the exaust pipes and its burning off, because when I drove the car before, there was black silt or some kind of fine ash coming out and getting all over the rear bumper--that stuff messes with paint. Another thing they mentioned the fuel injectors are just a little bit noisier now, not sure if its due the miniram or not, I had a superram replaced with the MR 2--could that be just a louder echo through the intake from the injectors. And does anyone have any opinions for myself to mention to those guys Before I pick it up ? thankyou
EDIT: CAR IS NOT BLOWING OIL OUT THE DIPSTICK NOW, just some out the exhaust
Depending on how the cyl were honed te CM rings can take a while to seat properly. I would definatly hook the PCV system back up it does nothing but help the motor. If it is cloged or not working correctly then fix it don't scrap it. Again it took me all of three hours, including trouble shooting to fix the problem with my wifes car.
I was incorrect, they didn't remove the pcv system, they left the driverside still ventilated to the header collector area, but capped off the passengerside, But I have an oil leak somewhere under the car and I'm taking the car back to them tomorrow...
