I am trying to install my new chip by Alvin and can't figure out how the ECU comes apart. I have tried to search because I know this was discussed about a month ago but can't find it. Can anyone help me out.

Thanks

Fred

There are three 10mm nuts that hold the PCM/ECM (computer) to the rack above the battery. Once you get these nuts off, flip the computer slowly upside down. There are 4 little torx screws you need to take out,a nd the chip will be right underneath that. Then, there are 2 tabs that unlock the chip from the motherboard. Slowly undo them then the chip lifts up. Take alvins chip and plug it into the chip. The chip will be at a 90 degree angle with the top going into the computer towards the motor(I hope thismakes sense), Alvins chip will have the factory chip plug plugged into it on the and then Alvins chip will plug into the factory slot. Does this help?

Alvin,

Can you read EASE scan files? I need to send you some for a friend.
