I bought the autometer fuel pressure guage i put the pressure sensor on the schrader valve ( after removing the little valve first)

You can look at my signature for the website, i show the pillar and the pressure guage fittings as well.

If you go with a manual guage, you need a transducer so you dont have 40 pounds if fuel pressure in the car...

What Mo said, also take your time so you have a clean installation and don't have wires everywhere. I've also always wired my gauge lights in with my parking lights or fog lights, good luck.

Thanks guys, what about the trans temp gauge? Anyone do one of these? Is there a place to attach the sender, or should I install inline in the rubber tubing by the cooler?

Thanks Mo. Hey Ramrod that is the same setup that I have except I'm going with the Stewart Warner white face gauges. You need to install yours so you can give me pointers . I still need to order the gauges. Seeya, Robert

Robert, Jeb still has my car over in Little Rock finishing up the DFI install. It seems that the Dynaspark that I installed in it has some kind of problem with the optical pickup. I thought it was the chip at first, so I had a local tuner try working it, but no luck. Then I bought the DFI setup and commissioned Jeb to do the install. The DFI programming had some problems and Jeb was able to work with the tech guy at Accel to have that corrected (had to ship the unit back to them). Still not right. I had already purchased a Delteq thinking it might just be the highvoltage side that was causing the problems. Jeb installed that, but the thing was still running way retared. He pulled the motor so he could check the timing and it was right on. After installing a used stock opti out of a 96 impala, it seem to be running just about right. I ordered a new opti from Chris May and had it shipped to Jeb a few weeks ago. He's got it on and the engine back in the car running. He's having to replaced the shifter cable (don't ask) and then on to the dyno for final tunning. Hope to have it on the strip before the end of this month. As to the gauges, I'll get around to installing them sometime this spring as well as installing the new cluster I've got that has the 8000 rpm tack. Check out Jeb's (jburnett) reply's in these posts http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...light=retarded http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ed&forum_id=48

WOW, sounds like a lot of work only to find out the it was the Dynospark. I've got the Delteq unit on mine. Bought a $150 opti body from Auto-Zone and sealed itup with RTV with the old cap. Works great. Hope to do the gauges in the next couple of weeks. Looks like I might beat you on the install after all. Hope you get you car back soon and that it's running right. Seeya, Robert
