I just installed my rad last night. Heads, cam and headers finally done.
Does anyone suggest using water wetter in the coolant or just coolant.
Also what kind of a setup are you LT1 boys running after the headers, magnaflow will not fit.
I use water wetter in mine and it seems to help, even with the biggest "Griffin Radatior" i could put in there, it still runs hotter than i would like with the a/c on. When you push it a little hard.

Any headers and any given exhaust system should be no problem. It's just a matter of making it hook together. Any exhaust shop worth it's salt should be able to handle it with no problem.

On my 93 I used the Exotic Muscle headers, two feet of extension pipe welded on to a X pipe then into a Corsa exhaust. Of coarse I cut off the resonator from the Corsa system. Sounds bad ***!!! Especially since my cam has a 110 LSA. Fred, you might consider heated O2 sensors.

RACE ON!!!
Plus, you can't use antifreeze with this stuff, can you? I wouldn't want to give up the chemical protections that antifreeze provides in a street car. If it doesn't run cool enough to suit you, I'd solve the problem mechanically.

Yes, it's made to work with anti-freeze and/or water. I have used it for years and it helps, also lubricates your water pump.
Thanks guys, I have to run cats so I'm waiting for the new Magnaflow to come out. It should be out in a month, very short about 3-1/2" diameter and legal in 49 states so it should work up here in Canada. I asked Merle about heated o2's and he said I didn't need them.
