Pilot Bearing ??
Its been about 20 years since I did a pilot bearing and they were your basic chevys. Im replaceing the dmf and as long as im that far the oil seal and the pilot bearing. I got the old one out with the grease trick and when I knocked the new one in I looked and saw it was 1/8" in past the front edge of the hole. It did not bottom out when it was flush. Is it ok in that far or do I have to pull it out a little. I would not worry about it on my old hot rods but on this 90 vette its a pain in the *** to take it apart if its wrong. Thanks for your help.
