LS1 Engine
I would like to buy an LS1 engine for a kit car I am building in the UK. I also have a 90 convertible vette.
Does anyone know where you can source a good second hand engine?

Just keep checking on Ebay, btw the LS1 is an excellent choice for a kit car as its all aluminum. If you really want a wild ride get a stage II heads and cam, you'll be kickin 475-500hp :eek:

Brand new crate LS1's complete with ECM and harness are going for about $5,400.00 from GM; 350 ram jet (350 HP) from GM Performance would also a good choice for kit car, I believe they go for about $4,000.00 maybe slightly less or buy a mid nineties camero LT1 6 speed and harvest the drivetrain.

You might want to search over on http://www.ls1.com for "valvegod" which is a guys user name over there. He has some pretty killer deals that I have seen. Heard nothing but good about him also.
