While you are waiting for your FSM to arrive, check for, air, fuel, spark, and compression. Each, in the right quantities, at the right time, equal a starting and running engine. If you get, and can read, codes, the "12"s and anything that follows, that pretty well proves that the ECM isn't dead. Same with the fact that it is getting fuel.
