Not to go against what anyone else has said, but if you really want to wake it up(you didn't state if six speed or auto), but if you have an automatic, a higher stall torque converter(and a trans cooler to go with it) and a gear swap will do wonders for you.

Also remember, and I always forgetti mention this, we all acheived these times under optimal weather conditions. Figure about 2 tenths slower on a normal day. I can't give exact conditions since they stopped putting the info on the timeslips
