DFI GEN 7, Code 72

I went into diag view and watched the cam/crank signals and they are erratic. A code 72 popped up after few times trying to restart.
Since I am not at home I do not have any literature on hand, I was wondering if someone could provide a little guidance.
INFO: Accel gen7 with accel dual sync, set up to run sequential. It has performed well for last 6 months. Initial installation was smooth and timing was verified then. I can't check it at the moment, so I don't know if maybe the distributor moved or even if that would cause this.

I had a feeling, there really isn't much I can check or fix on this thing.
Anyway, they picked up on the second ring and were able help me out right then. This is better than just 8 months ago and much better than the reputation.

I got the distributor back just 5 business days from when they got it. They replaced the board and a harness. The harness was apparently rubbing on something and it went through the insulation, this could very well have fried the board, I don't know, I didn't ask.
They probably could have made a case for charging me but didn't. Labor, materials and shipping covered w/out even providing proof of purchase date.
So, up and running again.
If you found this on search;
Go into Diagnostics, select ECM and Diagnostics and monitor the cam and crank signals in the Powertrain box. You should get a cam signal for a moment, then watch for 8 crank triggers. The number box should go through the firing order and then start over with a cam signal.
I was getting a cam signal every 2 or 3 crank signals so it wanted to start over at #1 again and again.

Nice to be back on the road again, eh?
You bet!

Hammer, Sawzall, and Duct Tape - that should be all you need for the successful installation of the Accel Gen VII
(sorry Mark - I couldn't resist
