heater core leaking?? help Mr. Wizard
ok..i started smelling this antifreeze smell...checked under the carpet on the passenger's side..and it was all wet...it's leaking bad...so..i went where any respectable corvette guy would go..walmart...and bought some stop leak...2 kinds....used one...drove around......flushed the radiator out....then added the other ...drove around...still leaks..i'm not much of a mechanic...any other tricks...guy at the fixit shop says about 5 to 600 hundred to fix...ouch.....

Or C, for now, block off the heater until you 1. either have time to fix it. Or 2, have the extra $$ to have it fixed. Lots of guys say they started with a heater core in our vettes and the built around them. From what I've read you have to be a contorsionist, and it's best to remove the passenger seat to get at it. OH, and 
with Morley, if stop leak stops the leak your whole system is going to be gummed up.
