Default HVAC Control

I remember seeing a website that offered to fix the HVAC control. Does anyone have that address or know where I can buy a new one?
The is the auto control where you set the temperature. Mine went nuts and goes from fukk heat to ac and back to full heat.

This is a Gene Taber operation. I have never dealt with him myself but I've seen alot of postings about his services. Some people love him, others do not.

Be aware that the climate controls have two parts. the head unit with the user controls and a programmer module that actuates the fan and controls the air valves. You may have some bad electrical connections or even a vaccum leak.

Good luck.

Don't know if this helps or not but have you checked for any codes in the unit?

Be nice to know what Year, but it sounds like the linkage between the temp door and motor that controls it has broken; ie, you don't have a Control Panel or Programmer problem. Remove the Blower Module on the left side of the Evaporator case so that you can see the temp door. If you can push it around with a screw driver, the plastic clip connecting it to the motor has probably broken. Access that by removing the passenger's side hush panel (and the ECM if it's an '89 or below). Link is available at your dealer.

Thanks to y'all for responding. The unit goes nuts and all the lights will randomly flash as the temp indicatior changes all by itself. It's an early 86 not to be confused with a later '86.
