I HAVE HAD A HARD PEDAL ON MY 89 COUPE. I ASSUMED THAT IT WAS A BRAKE BOOSTER. WELL THAT WAS WRONG. SO ON FUTHER INVESTAGTION I FOUND THAT I AM GETTING NO PRESSURE TO THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT BRAKE. THE OTHER THREE ARE FINE.I GET THE MANULE OUT AND I FIND THAT THERE IS A MODULATOR VALUE THAT DISTRUBTES TO THE DIFFERNT CORNERS. MY QUESTION IS THIS WHERE IS IT LOCATED.
The modulator valve is part of the ABS unit. Look in the compartment behind the driver's seat.
It could also be a restriction in the line or maybe a stuck piston in that caliper. If the fluid in the master cylinder reservoir looks dark, you should have the brake fluid flushed and replace with fresh fluid. If there is a restriction, that could clear it. A stuck or frozen caliper piston may require a replacement caliper.
And could you please not use all caps when typing?? That implies shouting. Thanx.
Sorrry. Did find it . Thanks.I have broke the line coming to that brake no pressure. Thats as far as i have gotten will check farther back. Oh i have pressure out of the master cylinder.
