Just became a corvette owner a few weeks ago when I purchased my 1996 CE LT4 in Atlanta. MAN is this thing fun! Makes the previous BMW I owned seem like a Toyota Camry. Well, I've already caught the fever to play under the hood (probably from hanging around this website to much) so I think that I'll start with the exhaust. Deciding between the Corsa and a chambered system. What do you all think?? Anyway, just thought I'd boast a little. Look forward to talking with you soon. :seeya
Congratulations! You'll love the LT4. I too still have the stock exhaust on mine but am seriously considering elims. Got any pics? The CE is one of the best looking Vettes ever!
Nothing beats borla? In what way? Price? Sound? No resonance? Do a search on the threads and you will find many complaining about the resonance. Each vette and driver is different, so only way to find out whether someone can put up with the resonance is to try them. I know two vette owners who after installing borlas took them off because resonance was too much on the local roads and the highway. One vette was a stock 1996 LT4 6 speed and the other a stock 1993 LT1 auto. The Corsa does not seem to have that issue.
Regarding exhaust, go with the Corsa! IMHO it's the best stainless system out there for the $$$ (check out the "Mall" on the forum for some of the best prices around). It sounds great, looks great and is one of the easiest to install. I've gotten many compliments on the look and sound since putting my system on earlier this summer.
