Default Scanner

FYI: I just received my reconditioned autoXray scanner and had a very positive experience with Mike Hawkins at Autocheckup.com He went out of his way to make sure that a problem I had in shipping was handled ASAP. Good man to do business with. :yesnod:

I also bought my scanner from the same place, very pleased with their service; however the scanner did not live up to my expectations so I called AutoXray and the tech told me that the AutoXray does a poor job interpreting the 84-86 ECM's, but hey for less than $100.00 it was and is a very valuable tool. I still use it to read codes and some functions. The problem I had was the scanner was reporting the car was pinging, so I took it to a shop and they tested it with their equipment and could not detect any knock. Also my car has an automatic and the scanner won't show TCC lock up function, but it shows it on my dad's 5 spd camero
