When driving my 1989 vette while cold, I sometimes can feel thee engine getting a little sluggish. The engine feels as if it wants to die, but then regain power. After which, I then get a code 13 (Oxygen sensor). I have replaced the sensor, plugs, wires, rotor with cap, and it now does it less. But, I still get the code. The only thing that I have not replaced in the coil. What am I missing. When the car is warm, It runs great.

Do you have headers?
do you have a heated O2 sensor?
Does it go away If you floor it?
Have you checked the O2 wire to see if it is burnt or broken?
I had something similar when I had a header leak. I would get to the red light down the street from my house, when I went to go it would hick up a lot around the turn. I would stomp on it and it would go away. once it warmed up it would not do it.
I never heard the exhuast leak. I think it was by the collector.
I also found I had issues when maintaining 65mph uphill. once I hit the hill i could feel the power surge in and out.
I don't have headers, or a heated oxygen sensor. If I give it more gas, the surge will go away. But, the engine light stays on. I traced the oxygen's wire from the sensor to where it enters the wire loom. I can't find any damage. I've spend alot of time under the hood, and I haven't heard an exhaust leak, or passed out from the fumes.
