Hi All
I just got home with my 1989 Vette.
The radio would not come on so I started pulling
out fuses to see if I could find a bad one.
I pulled one and the car stoped running. Now it will not start
Could the alarm system have armed itself? Is there a way
to reset the system?
Thanks Barry
What fuze did ya pull?
Did ya put it back in?
Disconnect the battery for a minuet or so.
I think you can pull the courtesy fuze out & it will eliminate the alarm.
Make sure you got all the fuses back in and properly seated. Is it cranking? but not starting-or is there no crank? And, you better check those battery connection-clean and tight-disconnecting the battery will generally clear a code-but that's about all.
Thanks Rick
All fuses look good and yes it is cranking over. The battery is only two weeks old. When I pulled the fuse out it was like I just turned the
key off and it stopped. Is there a security feture in the car that would
have made it stop?
Maybe I have to reset something?
Thanks Barry
