Thanks, but I'm not looking for the pulley.

I'm sure someone has a part # for a belt that is shorter and elims the ac.

Use NAPA belt numbr 25-060716. My belt went out on my 85 because the AC froze. This belt allowed me to by pass the AC unit. Tried about 8 belts at the store until I tried this one.

No problems using the belt at all. I ran it for about 3 months until I got the air conditioning fixed and got a new pump. Then changed to the correct sized belt. I still keep the belt in the Corvette as a spare.

Thanks,John..... I got the belt today.

But one question, how did you route the shorter belt to make it work.I'm confused on that.

Thanks

It was about 4 years ago when I did this. But looking at the Vet now, the only way to eliminate the AC is to put the belt on the other side of the tensioner pulley (ribs against the pulley). I ran it this way for several months before fixing the AC. I don't know how long this would work over a LONG period of time.
