C-beam Measurement
The rear end of my 90 vette is hanging ---jack stands are on the frame. Should I jack it up when I install the c-beam so it is like it would be when its on the ground?? Do people really measure the beam to body???

The batwing locates the diff. The purpose of the "C" beam is to restrain the nose of the diff from rising under the torque of the engine. It is possible that you may have to jack on the "C" beam or the back of the transmission to get everything to line up.
