Default What The Hell

We had a heck of a rain storm last night go out to go to work, vette starts, automatically I know somethings wrong. It's missing, has no power under load I turn around & go get my daily driver.Get home from work tonight, start it it runs fine. What the hell ?Could something on the inside have gotten wet ?Top leaks a little & it was a hard rain for about 3 hours & I forgot to put the cover on it.

Cover or not, rain should not cause issues like that if water is not getting in anywhere critical. It may not even be related to the rain, just pure coincidence pehaps.

Fill in your profile so we know what you're talking about. Do you have a L98 or LT1? If the LT1 its possible with the extreme humidity of an extendend rain storm some moisture got into the opti (although it shouldn't happen).

We don't know anything about your car. What year is it? What engine does it utilize? Is it an automatic or manual transmission?

Due to the complete lack of information you've provided, I have no choice but to conclude that you are blind and can not see the vehicle, the year printed on the title, the VIN number, or any other identifing characteristics of the automobile. Considering that you're blind, I applaud your ability to drive any car, be it a Corvette or daily driver. Your Corvette not running quite right is kind of insignificant when compared to a blind man hurtling around the local road ways on his daily commute.

The best thing you can do at this point is try to get someone with the gift of sight to look at the car for you. Try to get them to identify the year. Once you've established what year the car is, we should be able to help you more.

Just breaking your ***** man, don't take it seriously.

Try to remember though, not everyone knows what kind of Corvette you have. Any/all information you can provide will do nothing but help us to help you.

A similar thing happened to my 94 a couple of years ago. A very short time later it let me stranded. It turned out to be a very rusty OPTI
