Default 96 Cat Question *help*

well I just had a local shop make some muffler elims and its sounds better.... but not loud enough for me. I was thinking maybe cattin the cats out? I just dont know about all the sensors and stuff... any ideas? Or is there another way to make it loud for as cheap as cutting those out and puttin straight pipes? Someone has to know

oh, God, no.

If you want to go deaf, remove the resonator before you gut the cats.

If your state requires a visual/sniff, you would so fail, and new cats are not cheap (think over 600.00 a pair for aftermarket).

Absopositively!! Replace resonator with x-pipe, leave the cats alone. Don't drive by my house at night. S'right.

Don't gut the cats. Have the muffler shop fabricate some extension to this X-pipe (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Magna...QQcmdZViewItem)
